What is EFT?
WHAT IS EFT?
Emotional Freedom Technique, EFT. (Sometimes called “Tapping”). Deals with emotional issues of all types. Based on the idea that, “all negative emotion is a disturbance in the body’s energy system”. If you are feeling a negative emotion or negative feeling, then part of your subtle energy system, is blocked.
By clearing these blocks, which you can do by tapping on a simple, easy to follow set of acupuncture points, you can clear negative emotions, often permanently.
EFT can also be used to clear the underlying emotional causes of physical issues, thereby dramatically increasing the chances of physical healing.
This brief description however does not do justice to what I believe is one of the most effective easy to use, and teach, therapies which often offers instant results.
HOW IT WORKS
Fantastic results are reported with EFT, which can be used safely as a standalone therapy or alongside other alternative or conventional practices.
The tapping serves to release the blockages that are created when a person thinks about or becomes involved in an emotionally disturbing circumstance. When this blockage is released, the emotions come into balance.
Once balanced, the person cannot get upset about the circumstance no matter how hard they try. The memory remains but the emotional charge is gone. The result is long lasting and the person’s awareness usually changes in a positive way as a natural result of the healing.
Most energetic imbalances may be partially or completely relieved within a short time using this process. Others may be relieved through repetition of the process, breaking the negative emotion they carry down. Either way this is a gentle, rapid and very effective technique. It is not uncommon for longstanding difficulties to be cleared up in a few sessions, sometimes even in just one session.
EFT can be used to clear emotional issues, phobias, emotional trauma, and the emotions behind physical illness. Here are just a few, examples.
- Anxiety
- Stress
- Moving on from broken relationships
- Letting go of the past
- Anger Management
- Depression
- Insomnia
- Overeating
- Stopping Smoking
- Flying
- Spiders
- Dentists
A rule that is used by most therapists is ‘try it on everything’. It can and does have amazing results
